Mr. Crowder received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama.  He later attained his Masters degree from UAB and his EdS degree from the University of Montevallo.  Prior to becoming the principal of Arab High School, Mr. Crowder taught anatomy, physiology, and biology for four years.  He also held the assistant principal position for three years at Tarrant High School and two years at Homewood High School.

Mrs. Collier grew up in Arab and graduated from Arab High School.  She received her undergraduate degree from Southern Benedictine College in Cullman, Alabama.  She completed her Masters degree and AA certifications in both elementary education and school administration form the University of Alabama in Birmingham.  She also received her Ed. S degree from UAB.  Mrs. Collier taught science at Arab Junior High for 24 years where she was Teacher of the Year twice.  Last year she served as At-Risk Coordinator, Attendance Supervisor and Purchasing Representative for Arab City Schools.  She also served as Administrator at the Alternative School.

Mrs. Judy Collier,

Assistant Principal

Upon graduating from Albertville High School in 1990, he began college at the University of Alabama.  Since that time he has earned a Secondary Mathematics degree (1995), a Master's in Secondary Education (1998), and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from UA.  During his 10 year professional career he has taught mathematics at Scottsboro Jr. High, Alabama Avenue Middle School, Albertville High School and here at Arab High School.  He has also coached many successful athletic teams in football, wrestling, and baseball.  He has a wonderful wife, Susan, and a precious daughter (Taylor Ann).  He considers himself very fortunate to begin his administrative career here at Arab High School.
