| The Arab High School English Department is dedicated to an excellence in academia which involves all teachers and students. Our primary roles are instructing students in all areas of communicative skills, which include listening, thinking, speaking, reading, and writing, while at the same time helping students acquire and develop a knowledge of and appreciation for a variety of literary genres. This knowledge includes understanding the writing process, learning to communicate effectively the spoken word, reflecting on reading not solely for entertainment but for universal truths, and attempting to understand one's self and how the whole interrelated process affects each of us. | |||||||||||||||||
