Mr. Jonathan Sanford

¡Hola! My name is Jonathan Sanford. I teach Spanish classes at Arab Jr. High and Arab High School. I also work as an ESL support specialist for the district. I became a teacher at Arab City Schools in 2013. Prior to teaching at Arab, I worked for one year as an ESL teacher in Calhoun County schools, and spent six years as an ESL teacher in the Montevallo community in Shelby County, Alabama. I am married and have two children. I am originally from Centre, Alabama.

It shall be the policy of the Board that the School District shall provide on a nondiscriminatory basis, equal educational opportunities for students. All programs offered by schools within the School District shall be open to all students. The School District may condition access and/or the privilege to participate in certain events and/or activities on the students and parents/guardians executing required waivers and hold harmless agreements which, in the event of accident or injury, would indemnify and hold harmless the School District and its employees harmless from any and all liabilities or claims made by individuals or entities as a result of a students’ participation in a given event.
