It shall be the policy of the Board that the School District shall provide on a nondiscriminatory basis, equal educational opportunities for students. All programs offered by schools within the School District shall be open to all students. Equal access will be granted to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups consistent with statutory and judicial requirements. The School District may condition access and/or the privilege to participate in certain events and/or activities on the students and parents/guardians executing required waivers and hold harmless agreements which, in the event of accident or injury, would indemnify and hold harmless the School District and its employees harmless from any and all liabilities or claims made by individuals or entities as a result of a students’ participation in a given event.
