Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Becky Palys has been a teacher at Arab Primary School since August 2000.  She taught first grade for 13 years and is currently a kindergarten teacher.  She graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.  She later earned a master's degree in elementary education from The University Alabama.  She is a National Board Certified Teacher. She was the Arab Primary School Teacher of the Year, the Arab City Schools Teacher of the Year and the Alabama District Six Elementary School Teacher of the Year in 2012. She is married to Andy Palys, who is the network administrator for Cullman City Schools. They have twins named James and Kaitlyn.
