I am an Arab High School graduate and I have been a teacher here at AJHS since 1998, teaching all three grade levels of science at some point over the years.  I've been working exclusively with 8th graders the past few years, teaching Pre-AP Physical Science.  I hold both a B.S and M.S. in Biological Sciences from UAH, and an Early Adolescent Science certification from the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards.   

I am blessed every single day to see your children walk through the classroom door so that I might share my excitement of science discovery with them, and so that we might all learn something from each other! My biggest hope, and what I work for each day, is to have a positive impact on each of my students, so that they can move into their high school years having good character qualities, a great work ethic, and a sense of purpose, well-being, and confidence.
