I currently serve as the secondary ELA instructional coach for Arab City Schools. Over the course of my career, I have taught almost every secondary grade level. I began my career in Arkansas, my home state, in 1998, and my family and I spent two years in Kansas before making Alabama our forever home in 2008. At Arab High School, I taught freshman and sophomore English along with reading remediation before transferring to the junior high in 2013 where I taught 8th grade English while serving as a part-time instructional coach. I began my current position as a full-time instructional coach in 2015. My husband, Dennis, and I have two children, Reece and Haven, who are both proud graduates of Arab High School.
