It is an honor and a privilege to have served in Arab City Schools system since 2003 for my entire teaching career.  I've taught 5th and 6th grade Social Studies, 5th, 7th, and 8th grade English, and now currently 6th grade English since 2013.  Originally from Aliceville, Alabama, I now call Arab my home, along with my husband, Patrick, a system administrator, and our son, Joe, a 2014 Arab High School graduate and University of Alabama alumnus.  Both as a teacher and former parent of our school system, I can attest to the quality education of our schools, and I count myself blessed to be a part.  Every day I seek to help my students be successful both in and out of the classroom,  and hopefully, have fun doing it.
