Welcome to my page! I am so excited about starting my fifth year with Arab City Schools! I currently teach sixth grade English/Language Arts and have been with ACS since 2014.

My family and I settled in Arab almost five years ago after my husband retired from the military. We decided on Arab mainly because of the excellent school system. As a previous English teacher in Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Texas, and Japan, I anxiously joined the ACS team and enjoy sharing my love of reading with my students.

It shall be the policy of the Board that the School District shall provide on a nondiscriminatory basis, equal educational opportunities for students. All programs offered by schools within the School District shall be open to all students. The School District may condition access and/or the privilege to participate in certain events and/or activities on the students and parents/guardians executing required waivers and hold harmless agreements which, in the event of accident or injury, would indemnify and hold harmless the School District and its employees harmless from any and all liabilities or claims made by individuals or entities as a result of a students’ participation in a given event.
