Mr. John Ingram

I graduated from Arab High School in 1991.  After graduation, I attended Jacksonville State University where I obtained my degree in education.  I was fortunate to have the opportunity to come home to Arab High School in 1995.  From 1995 to 2005, I served as a teacher, coach, and assistant principal at AHS.  In 2005, I moved to Arab Junior High School where I served as principal for 13 years.  In July of 2018, I became the principal of Arab High School.

I am married to Cindy Ingram who is also an educator.  Currently, she is an assistant principal at Arab Primary School where she serves as the Pre-K coordinator.  We have one child, Ella, who is a senior at AHS.  Both of my parents were educators.  My father, Johnny Ingram, served as a teacher, coach, and administrator for over 30 years.  He also served as the principal of Arab High School.  My mother, Suzanne Ingram, taught various levels of math throughout her career.  I have one brother, Joel, who is a teacher and head football coach at Washington County High School in Sandersville, Georgia.  I enjoy exercising, landscaping, and watching my daughter compete in volleyball.

Arab is home to me.  I am extremely blessed to be able to serve our students, teachers, and community as principal of Arab High School.

Go Knights!
