I began my teaching career in DeKalb County in 1996.  I taught at Sylvania High School from 1996 until 2005 and at Northeast Alabama Community College from 1999 until 2005, when my family relocated to Albany, Georgia.  While there, I taught at Westover Comprehensive High School for two years.  My family returned to Alabama and I was hired to teach at Arab Junior High School.  After eight years at AJHS, I transferred to Arab High School in 2015.  I currently teach PreCalculus and Honors PreCalculus.

My son, Drew, a graduate of Arab High School, is currently a student at Samford University studying Sports Management and Recreational Ministry. Our family attends Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.  I enjoy traveling, watching Alabama football, and spending time with my family.
