Mrs. Mitzi Wiggins

I began my teaching career at Arab High School in 1999. I taught English for 16 years and worked as an Instructional Coach for three years before becoming the assistant principal at Arab Junior High (2015-2018). I was presented the opportunity to return "home" to Arab High School as an assistant principal in 2018. I feel so blessed to work in the ACS system.

My husband and I have two grown children, Morgan and Will, and were blessed in 2016 with a son-in-law, Wesley. Since our nest is now empty, we devote all of our free time to our German Shepherds, Aria and Axel. We also enjoy running, hiking, kayaking, and traveling.

It shall be the policy of the Board that the School District shall provide on a nondiscriminatory basis, equal educational opportunities for students. The School District may condition access and/or the privilege to participate in certain events and/or activities on the students and parents/guardians executing required waivers and hold harmless agreements which, in the event of accident or injury, would indemnify and hold harmless the School District and its employees harmless from any and all liabilities or claims made by individuals or entities as a result of a students’ participation in a given event.
