I grew up in Eufaula, AL and graduated from The Lakeside School (1991). I received an athletic scholarship to Troy State University where I lettered in football (1991-94) and baseball (1992).

I began teaching in 1997 and have been in the Arab City School System since 2000. I currently teach driver's education. I am an assistant varsity football coach and serve as Sports Information Director for the Athletic Department. My wife, Misty, is a Business Education teacher and cheerleader coach at Arab High School. My children, Josie and Drew, are students in the school system and are involved in many extracurricular athletic activities. My family and I attend Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
