Mrs. Andrea Hallman
Hey! Welcome to Arab Elementary School, my name is Andrea Hallman! I am in my 7th year of teaching fourth grade and my 17th year teaching school. Previously, I taught ten years at Spakman Middle School in Madison County where I was a Title I teacher and Reading Coach.
I was born and raised in the Arab area. I graduted Arab High School in 1997 with an Advanced Diploma. (Go Knights!) I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2002 and a Master's in Library Media in 2009.
I have been married to Lance Hallman for 16 years. He is one of the counselors at Arab High School. We have two children: Mary Kate (who attends Arab High School) and Zachary (who attends AES).
When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my family. You can find me at most Arab High School volleyball/girls basketball games and travel basketball/football games. Also, my husband and I help out with the youth at our church (Union Chapel United Methodist). In the little free time that I have, I love to read. However, both Mary Kate and Zac keep us busy with sports.
I became a teacher because I feel like this has always been my calling. I believe that God places us in the career and position to glorify Him. My goal is for each child that enters my classroom to feel God's love through me. I hope that my actions can brighten a child's day and make a positive difference in their lives. I absolutely love my job and know that this is what I've been called to do! I look forward to working with all of my students!
