Welcome to third grade!  I’m so excited to teach math at Arab Elementary School!

I grew up in Louisiana, and I graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Elementary Education.  That’s where I met my husband, Matt. After college, we moved to New Orleans, and I taught 4th and 5th grades there. Since then, I have taught in Arab, in Mississippi, and now back in Arab! I love, love, love third grade, and Arab Elementary is by far the best school I’ve been a part of!

I have two children, Sam and Libby.  Sam was born in Huntsville and is a HUGE Alabama fan.  Libby was born in Georgia, but she is an Alabama fan through and through! We also have a Golden Retriever, Tucker. I love to shop, read, travel, and spend time with my friends.

I feel so blessed to be able to have a job that impacts the lives of the kids I teach. Teaching is definitely what I was called to do, and I’m thankful I get to do it here at AES.
