Hello, and welcome to the GATE program at Arab Elementary School.

My name is Jennifer King, and I grew up in Arab and graduated from Arab High School.  I received my undergraduate and graduate degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the University of Alabama.  I started my teaching career in Arab City Schools in 1998.  I taught third grade for nine years and then taught fourth grade math and science for five years.  In 2011, I began teaching in the gifted and talented program and received my masters in Gifted and Talented Education.  I absolutely love teaching!

My husband Ty and I have two children, Lawson and Kayleigh.  We enjoy spending time together as a family and love to travel.  We are members of Arab First Baptist Church and enjoy doing activities with our church family.
