I am a 5th grade Language Arts and History teacher at Arab Elementary School.  I knew at a very young age that I wanted to become and teacher one day.   After graduating from high school in Michigan, my family relocated to Arab, AL. I began working towards my goal and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Athens State University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Alabama. I have taught at Arab Elementary School for 20 years. My teaching experience includes 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade as well as Reading Coach and Title I.  I have also presented for Alabama Reading Initiative summer institute.

I have been married to my husband, Jeremy Jones since 2005.  We have three children; Shelby, Cory and Allinder.  We enjoy traveling in our 5th wheel and visiting new places.
