I moved to Arab in 5th grade and graduated from Arab High School in 1990. I graduated from Jacksonville State with my bachelor of science in Special Education K-21 with certification in Emotional Conflicted in 1994, and I received my Masters of Collaborative in Elementary Education in 2001. I currently teach 4th grade special education. I love teaching special education and teaching my kids to reach for their dreams no matter their disabilities. 

I have a wonderful husband (Jeff) and 2 great kids(Hunter and Jordan). My husband and both of my kids are nurses. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and read. I attend Liberty Church and love helping students in our community.
