Hello! Welcome to Arab Elementary School! My name is Wendy Wright. I am excited for another fun year in fourth grade! 

I am born and raised in Arab, Alabama. I went to Arab City Schools as a student. After graduating from Athens State University in May 1995, with degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, I was employed by the Arab City School System.  I began at Arab Elementary School as a Title I Assistant.  The next year, I moved to Arab Primary School as a Reading Lab Teacher and Science Lab Teacher.  In 1997, I taught Kindergarten, then transferred to First Grade in 1998 until 2007.  I worked the next year as a Second Grade Teacher.  In 2009, I transferred to Arab Elementary School to teach Fourth Grade math and science as I continue to do today.

My husband is Dale. He works at Hyco Alabama as an Engineer. We have two girls, Christian and Laura Catherine.
