My name is Kim Lear and I am an Instructional Aide here at AES. I am so blessed that God has given me this opportunity to work with your children.  I began subbing for the Arab City School System in March of 2019 and joined the team at AES full time in August of 2021.

I am married to Robert Lear and we have one son, Jeremiah, and two daughters, Maggie and Ashlynn.  Jeremiah and Maggie attend school in the Arab City School System.  Ashlynn is married with a daughter of her own and lives in Ohio. My family and I moved here from Ohio in July 2018 with my husband’s job. We attend Arab First United Methodist Church and I volunteer with our youth and children’s ministries. I have enjoyed working with kids since my son was little. We have been involved with our son and daughter, volunteering with their Cub and Girl Scout Troops.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, sewing, reading, and drawing.

After high school I attended the local community college and graduated with my Associate of Applied Business. I also earned my Bachelor of Science in 2002 with a Major in Business Administration/Marketing from Urbana University (now Franklin University).
