I am a 2007 Arab High School graduate and I am so excited to be a part of Arab City Schools! I attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and Marketing in 2012. I moved to Yorktown, VA in 2013 and spent several years working as a freelance graphic designer and Pharmacy Technician. That same year, I had the opportunity to help start a business called Paint Nite, where I taught adult painting classes. I realized my passion for teaching art while working for Paint Nite, which led me back to UAH in 2019 for my degree in Art Education. I am now a certified P-12 Art and 6-12 Special Education Teacher. I currently teach Visual Arts, 2D Design, and 3D Design at Arab High. I also spend time in General Education classrooms as an inclusion teacher.
