My name is Laura Rankhorn, and I believe I have the best job in the world!  I love being the school counselor at Arab Elementary.  I meet with students through whole group lessons, small groups, and individual counseling sessions.  In my whole group lessons my students and I have so much fun playing games or doing hands-on activities like practicing coping skills. 

My small groups are for specific groups like new students, or students who want some more help with managing their big emotions.  My small groups and I have so much fun while learning useful skills!

Students can request individual sessions using the form that is in their Google Classroom.  I always tell students that if they're having a bad day, a sad day, or even a really good day and they want to tell someone about it, I would love to hear about it!
