Congratutulations to Rebecca Suits on being named Alabama's "Love the Bus" Driver of the year! Ms. Suits has been loving our students and keeping them safe for over 30 years.

The "Love the Bus" program began in 2007 by the American School Bus Council to celebrate the school bus' influence on learning. Read more about the 2019 awards' ceremony.

It shall be the policy of the Board that the School District shall provide on a nondiscriminatory basis, equal educational opportunities for students. No student shall be denied the benefits of any educational program or activity on the basis of race, ethnicity, disability, ability, creed, national origin, religion, or gender. All programs offered by schools within the School District shall be open to all students. Equal access will be granted to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups consistent with statutory and judicial requirements. The School District may condition access and/or the privilege to participate in certain events and/or activities on the students and parents/guardians executing required waivers and hold harmless agreements which, in the event of accident or injury, would indemnify and hold harmless the School District and its employees harmless from any and all liabilities or claims made by individuals or entities as a result of a students’ participation in a given event.
