AJHS Hosts Marshall County Math Tournament and Wins Team & Individual Awards

AJHS Math Teams hosted the recent Marshall County Math Tournament at Snead State on April 27th. In addition to hosting the tournament, AJHS participants brought home team and individual awards!
LifeSouth Blood Drive @ AJHS -- May 10th

SCA is sponsoring a Relay for Life blood drive through LifeSouth Community Blood Centers on May 10th from 7AM - 3PM. Roll up those sleeves and join us in the parking lot between the gyms at AJHS for a great cause!
AJHS Celebrates Our Special Olympics Winners! Go Knights!

AJHS students participated in the 2012 Special Olympics on Thursday, April 26th. Congratulations to our winners from Arab Junior High School: Kyle Hanson, Parker Moore, Joe Long, Derek Little and Kim Moore!
AJHS Students Place at 4-H Marshall County Round-up

AJHS students competed in intermediate level events at the recent 4-H Marshall County Round-up in Guntersville on Wednesday, April 25th. Congratulations to our winners -- Kristin Hix, Cheyenne Bonner, Derrick Barnes and Amber King.

AHS 9th grade Beta Club Wins at State
The AHS Junior Beta Club joined the AJHS Junior Beta Club at the State Convention in Huntsville March 15-16. The Quiz Bowl Tean was 1st, Shelby Brakefield was 1st in English, Brittany Holdcraft was 2nd in Jewelry, and Laura Grave was 3rd in Math. All of these are National Qualifiers. Next is the National Convention in June in Greensboro, NC.
AJHS Betas Winners at State Convention

The AJHS Junior Beta Club let Betas from across the state know about Arab at the State Junior Beta Convention in Huntsville March 15-16. Mackenzie Sokoll was elected State Secretary, the Campaign Skit placed 3rd, the Quiz Bowl team placed 3rd, and Jeremy Plunkett was 2nd in Science.
