- What is a Definitive Contact?
- This is the parent/guardian who completes the 'back-to-school' paperwork, signs the required forms, and keeps the student's information up-to-date.
- What if a family needs to change who is listed as the Definitive Contact?
- Contact the school office. For safety and security purposes, they will review the information with you and make those changes.
- Who will receive all communications and parent portal account invitations?
- All custodial parents/guardians with a valid email address on file in PowerSchool will receive an invitation to create an account.
- Website vs. App?
- The Definitive Contact features are only available on the website! The app is great for quickly reviewing grades and attendance but the Definitive Contact features will not be viewable.
Definitive Contacts will see seven additional pages in the PowerSchool Parent Portal:
- Acknowledgement Forms - This page serves as the online solution for ‘back-to-school’ paperwork. Please read each acknowledgement carefully.
- Contact Management - This page displays all contacts associated with the student and provides edit/update functionality. You may also request additional contacts here.
- Student Transportation - Feature coming soon! This page will collect basic information related to the student’s transportation methods.
- Student Address Verification - This displays the physical and mailing address for the student. You may submit updates on this page at any time.
- Student Health Information - This is a link to the annually required Alabama State Department Student Health Form. You may submit updates on this page at any time.
- School Fees - This is a link to the OSP (Online School Payments) information page and a direct link to the OSP payment portal.
- Free and Reduced Lunch Application - This is a direct link to Titan/Linq to apply for free and reduced lunch.
