  • RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS WINNERS

    During the week of November 14-18, teachers nominated students for performing Random Acts of Kindness.  86 submissions were made across the district.  Congratulations to the students who were randomly selected and rewarded with a gift card from a local restaurant or coffee shop.

  • SCHOOL LUNCH CHANGES FOR 2022-2023

    The federal USDA waiver that allowed ACS to provide lunches at no cost to students is set to expire on June 30, 2022. Families who do not qualify for free meals can expect to resume paying full or reduced price for school meals beginning in August when school resumes.
     
    Anyone needing assistance paying for lunches and/or breakfasts MUST COMPLETE AN APPLICATION BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS in order to start the year on the reduced or free lunch program. For more information and a link to the online application please visit: https://www.smore.com/wz10v

  • COVID DASHBOARD

    The Alabama Department of Public Health and the Alabama State Department of Education are working together to provide each school system's COVID-19 numbers.  The 2021-2022 school year numbers are now available at the following link: COVID-19 Schools K-12 Dashboard
